All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

“You hold a players only meeting and get each guy to stand up and say what he can bring to the table... and if he doesn't, you punch him in the face.” ~~ Harry Neale, on how to fix the Sabres season.
How are points awarded for this. If I guess 3-1 buff and score is 3-2 buff would I get a point for getting one part right? Just curious
You have to get it dead on.. if nobody gets it dead on, closest wins (I think)

Ok, I'm going to run it this year...but I'm going to put all the rules up front so there can be no complaints.
for those who weren't around last year. Before every Sabres game, you predict who wins that nights game and the score in the game prediction thread.. If you are the closes, you will receive 1 point. Who ever has the
Basically, an exact prediction gets 2 points. If no one gets it exactly, the closest score gets 1 point (and more than 1 person can get points if they both guess right or tie for the closest).
So, in your example, if you guessed 3-1 and the final was 3-2, you'd get a point as long as no one else guessed 3-2.
