Oh, and Stafford SUCKS. Yeah, he got the goal, but we wouldn't have needed it if he had capitalized on his earlier chances.

I don't know how you can say Sekera cost them this game and the same breath exclude Hoff, Gragnani, and Ennis.
Sekera looks like a god compared to the other bums on the blueline tonight (sans Regehr, I guess) - but then again, they are playing three rookies on it.... But that's the sad part, because other than McNabb who was awful tonight, the regulars cost them the game.
But really, Sekera actually didn't have too bad of a game I thought... Outside of Regehr and him our D was a disaster though... Certainly don't think he played poorly enough to get singled out with the others, and he's been pretty solid this year outside of one bad stretch.

Also Miller is one of the top PAID goalies in the league he needs to start playing that way. Injuries are too much to overcome at this point. Along with the core players doing the usual... it is getting ugly.

4 goals on 10 shots during the game, that's pretty hard to overcome for any team.
Flyers have played 10 rookies this year and lead the league in goals scored, Sabres have played 9 rookies.
Sekera isnt the reason the team lost... Gerbe's giveaway at the end of the 1st, Grags, and hoffs Multiple giveaways... 4 of the 5 flyer goals were scored off of defensive end giveaways, and 1 offensive giveaway. McNab and Finley simply arent ready to be in the pros. i think they have a birght future, but its not right now. Gragani desprately needs to be benched but with how injured their blue line in now they cant afford to

this buffalo season collapse is epic. NEver have both teams been so useless at teh same time. usually one kind of holds spirits up more than the other. Together, these two teams have **** the bed.
5 goals by miller? 5? his home GAA is so pathetic. Play like an elite goalie. your team needs you. and he isn't doing squat.
This season of sports is causing my emotions to feel like they are inside the apollo 13 mission capsule returning into the atmosphere. my fandom is shaky and we are all just praying that the heat shields hold.
Miller is soft and Ruff can't get the team to play for him anymore
Gragnani is the one who handed Giroux a breakaway to win in OT.
However, the whole team is to blame for letting them score 4 to take the lead. And how come Miller is **** on breakaways?
Regehr is the only Dman that comes to play.. Kassian got benched for something (ruff prolly sent him to the locker room to get his balls cut off), because it seemed the more kassian did on the scoresheet to help the team, the more ruff benched him.
and look what happens when he (Regehr) misses a shift, Jagr scores a weak wrist shot from 40 feet out w/ Both Dmen on him...
thats how insignificant +/- is..
Gragnani +10, plays like **** night in and night out.
Regehr -6, plays hard every night.
Hecht had more hits in his first 4 games back than MAG has had all season.

Yeah Miller hasnt played well,but Im sick of everyone blaming him for every little thing including getting married. People that want him traded better be careful what they wish for...

You are correct the blame is not just on miller. But the point I am trying to make is you pay players the kind of money the sabres pay miller to make a difference. When the rest of your team is playing bad you should be the one to step up. If not we can get a goalie for half millers salary to let in 5 goals everytime the D plays bad
Actually, even Myers has been pretty terrible for most of this year.
As far as Miller, here's the problem: We've seen what he's capable of. He's currently not playing at that level, and that's where the frustration comes from. Is it all on him? Of course not, but in the past he's been able to keep us in games- and even win games- when the rest of the team was playing like **** by pulling saves out of his ass.
The team gave him a huge contract and is relying on him to win. It's not always fair, but, unfortunately, with the way this team is built, we aren't going to win many games unless Miller is spectacular.
And looking back on it, I think you guys are right. I think I meant to call out Gragnani, not Sekera.
Sorry- I didn't mean to confuse our sub-par non-American D men.
