    Colts fire coach Jim Caldwell

The Colts hired Ryan Grigson as their new general manager last week and said they would have a decision on Caldwell's future by the middle of this week. The team has called a 4 p.m. ET news conference.

Caldwell opened his career by winning his first 14 games, the most in NFL history by a rookie head coach, and leading Indianapolis to the Super Bowl. He won an AFC South title in his second season.

I didn't realize the Colts new GM has a tie to Buffalo...

Wonder if Caldwell's replacement will be Mornhinweg or April.

      ESPN sucks.

For a good 2 hours early Tuesday afternoon, they ran a Breaking News flash on the ticker running across the bottom.

" Colts HC Jim Caldwell returning in 2012 "

      They switched it later.

What is going on in Indy? The only thing left to do is cut Peyton.

They won't cut him, but they'll trade him and draft Luck.

Seems like there is some serious overreactions going on in Indy...

Living in Indiana, I'm hearing whispers that it's possible that Manning coud very well come to an agreement with the Colts and retire.

Nothing concrete yet, but not far fetched, given the situation.
