    Bills going hard after Mario?

I don't have espn insider so I don't know the content of the story, but that is the title of the latest posting on the espn insider's rumor central page.

I've read somewhere that Mario has been pretty adamant that money won't be the deciding factor in where he goes, so I still think the Bills chances aren't great, but I'm really starting to believe that they will in fact be aggressive players in going after Mario. It's time for the Bills to make a statement.

EDIT: Sorry I forgot to include a link

sounds like #bills will get in on the sweepstakes for Super Mario Williams - they've been looking for pass rush help for years

I think having Williams and Dareus on the inside may be appealing to a good pass rusher. However, ultimately, it comes down to money and playing for a winning team. The Bills may have some upside, but if you're Williams, would you rather go to Buffalo or say New England?

its nice the Bills will go after him, but don't get too excited. If there is a tie or a slightly less offer from another team Bills will lose the tiebreaker

its still just speculation...heres the most important snippet from that post:

During an appearance on WGR 550 on Tuesday morning, Bills GM Buddy Nix hinted that they might be ready to take the plunge. "We'd like to be out of the business by Friday. The big splash for us could be over in a week," Nix said, per BuffaloBills.com. He later reiterated that the team was going to be addressing the DE position this offseason, either through free agency or the draft. If that's the priority, then inking Williams would certainly be a logical move.

Was listening to to Mike and Mike this morning and they were saying Chicago is going to go hard for Mario. Sure its just speculation, but that defense would be freakish if it happend

So they're just speculating based on the interview Nix did today. That's some real inside info right there. I'm glad I don't waste my money on espninsider.

The bears would be ******ed to spend all that money on mario williams. They need a lot of offensive help.

                      1. They have enough money to get Mario & maybe even V.Jackson
                      2. They would have best D-Line in NFL Period!
See what that did for the Giants.

It would be a ton of money to spend on the DL BUT they do play against Brees, Ryan, Romo, Rodgers (twice), Stafford (twice) and Manning in the NFC.

Only way to stop these guys as evidenced by the Giants is to attack them from all angles...

Even if they didn't land him, it would be encouraging to make a serious try.

And you can't have too many pass rushers. Giants have two recent rings that say so.
