He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

To be honest, you'd have to make it worth my while, like an out of conference football game, where one team pays the other to play.
You're "Low on ZB" and "have a strong team." No real incentive on my end to play...

The chance to win the $25k isn't the issue... It's the chance of you winning it and being able to perhaps outbid me down the road.
Currently, I have around 4x the amount of ZB that you do. By not taking a challenge, that limits what you can do down the road.
You've also recently won 3 lotteries worth about $15k... Why would I want to give you a shot at $25k more, when currently, you will only be able to win 2-3 more cards?
It's less about me gaining ZB and more about not giving you the chance to close the gap and it hurting me down the road.
