Bills huge number for a future Hall of Famer.
Hall of Famer plays position that isn't QB.
Hall of Famer doesn't represent "tipping point" where it becomes easier to sign other FAs.
Player plays amazing but isn't QB and therefore does not matter.
Player is not worth it.

If Mario isn't proof that wasting money on players that aren't a QB is silly, then I don't know what is. He's phenomenal but it just doesn't matter that much.
