Mario is going to be a HOF candidate (his resume will end up being better than Haley's most likely, except for team accomplishments), so that pretty much takes pyrite out of the equation regardless of the team's last 15 season's path to nowhere.

It's funny, I still don't think Mario getting that huge ass contract was necessarily worth it but eh it had to be spent somewhere, Mario is gonna put up career stats that mirror guys like Haley, Richard Dent, Jason Taylor, Michael Strahan.

He's gonna end up in that hall of fame discussion and if he puts up another 5 seasons of 35+ tackles, 10+ sacks he's gonna be a first ballot guy.

for all the times the bills have gone in big for someone and just gotten zero in return, it's hilarious that anyone would defend this as a bad move. it literally put the d on track to be one of the best. if not in nfl, certainly in terms of bills history.

if you want to say, "i'm still kinda right" because of a moving metric, it's an absurd because you were also mostly wrong. he rebounded from his wrist injury amazingly. had bledsoe been this kind of acquistion in 2002 we might be superbowl winners or even broke the drought. HAd the year marv went all in on two really bad linemen worked out, we could have broke the drought.
