Hes not giving 100%.. Several NFL media people have noticed and commented on it
It's obvious, he checked out based on Ryan's scheme of making he, Hughes, Dareus and Kyle go out into coverage at times for really no reason. He's been vocal against the scheme, I'm guessing hoping to see some changes based on his and his linemates skill sets, didn't see any so he decided F this, I'm done.
At this point he's a detriment to the team as long as Ryan is here, so you just cut bait and move on. However you choose to cut bait, trade him for a mid round pick or just outright release him.
Yep a 4th Round pick possibly... There could be a team that runs a 4-3 defense that thinks wiliaims could be still productive as a 4-3 DE not likely a probowler but 8 to 10 sacks.. His new team for sure would want to restructure the last 2 years on his deal though
Why would any team trade for a guy who quits when he doesn't get his way? I agree with him that Ryans use of him is stupid but you don't quit. That makes him a thief in my book. Can't wait to see him gone.

A team that would want him and not want to get into a bidding war for his services.
Obviously they'd have to have a restructured deal in place to take him on but if the Bills outright release him some team will still pay him 8-10 per because he can get after the QB. This season won't be looked at him having diminished skills, it will be looked at him being utilized incorrectly.
And, he was utilized incorrectly. Rex Ryan has skills and completely neutralized his best pass rusher.

Agreed. But to be honest I saw this pattern even last year. He's never been a full motor guy. He always takes plays off, and seems to get his numbers when he needs his numbers. But after signing a $100M contract, I think his tendency to slack got a major case of Haynesworth-itis. I agree - cut him/trade him - whatever - but get rid of his baggage. It's not like he's irreplaceable at likely 1/3 the cost.
