All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

a guy with a 10 year career and some gaudy stats will remain a good player. the tail end when he's mailing it in and getting gpaid doesn't make him a bust. that makes him an NFL player. the premise of the original post was that he was a bad player and always had been. but he's been unquestionably good until last year when he quit. And despite stillhaving no heart, when the dolphins needed to swing momentum and get the game under control, he delivered.

Aren't u one of the window lickers that called him a future HOF'er?
i don't know if I called hima HoF, but he was part of the d being revamped when he came and he played at a high level. it is hard to start a thread 5 years ago and say you were right, when you were wrong for the first 4 years of it.

He wasn't the only poster who questioned the acquisition of Williams - his performance, the high cost of his contract and how it affected the team's available $ to acquire other players, his contract's cap effect and so forth.
Times have moved on, but back when, his price tag was a big, big thing. BUF tossed a lot of eggs in his basket, and the dividends his play produced were small. He got his sacks for a time, didn't do much other than try to pad same, laid down his last season here, and didn't nudge the team into the playoffs.
