Nearly 9 minutes but I was always crazy about Santana and Stevie Ray. I was lucky when I was a kid, my sis' friend dumped a box of her old albums for 10 bucks and it was loaded with Santana. I picked up on Stevie Ray early because I was deep into blues. They both haven't lost anything over time imho. Coal Train......

Is Mr. Pink the one to bring me down ? Is Peterman on an NFL roster in 2019 ? What avatar do I choose for Mr. Pink ? Stay tuned, it's hugely !

    Got you covered.

I never liked him when younger. Getting old does something to you. I can associate this song now with things from then. I can deal with it, sort of.

No clue where this came from, but I remembered it and it stuck in my head lately.

Re: What are you listening to?

So there are 10 million covers out there, and I enjoy many of them. I do try to pick carefully which ones to post. Can't go there too often.

This one is a legit cover of a very tough song to do well. Very legit.

Re: What are you listening to?

Sometimes I forget about J. Mascis and Dinosaur Jr. Not tonight though.

I knew a couple, they had a new wavy band, artsy instrumental heavy on keyboard. She was an old friend, the singer, he was one of those opposites of me I hit it off with at once. He liked J. Mascis... had no serious guitar solos in their sets though. So I nagged him and nagged him he had to have a blistering guitar solo. He'd just chuckle. I nagged him more.

Came a time he'd do a blistering guitar solo in every set if I was there, but comically always when there was absolutely no context in the song and no one expected it. Everyone else in the band would be laughing and he'd grin like an unhinged maniac at me. I'd always tell him later, "I think you're starting to get the hang of this, next one will be better."

He was an excellent musician and we both knew he didn't have to do blistering guitar solos by the way.

    Anyhoo.....Dino Jr.....

Re: What are you listening to?

    That was gorgeous.

My spirit animal however, is, was, and always will be Motorhead. They'd not have tolerated that panel or respected the context, and they'd have fought their way out of there, not even making much of the evening.

Great sound. Only wish he would have skied off of that peak jamming on his guitar.
