    BBD: The Perfect Fit?

I was having a discussion a few weeks ago with a friend and colleague of mine, Benjamin Albright of NFLDraftMonster.com (check them out, they have great stuff!), he mentioned that he thought that Geno Smith would make the perfect QB for the Chan Gailey system. Now this was before either the NCAA or NFL season began so while I liked Geno Smith plenty coming into the year I wasn’t quite sold and then…well…Geno happened.

I like him. I wonder if going 45 for 51 will really raise his stock. Out of the disgusting numbers on Sat, that one stood out to me the most.

I'd like to see what he can do against K State and Oklahoma.

5 games in and he's still over 80% comp. with 24 TD's and no INT's... Ridiculous.

He's done way more than Newton IMO.

              Re: BBD: The Perfect Fit?

After watching his game I'm left with real concerns about his decision making and how long it takes him to go through his progressions.

It seems to me like he's at best a mid 1st rounder and if I see him throw many more questionable throws that could be picked I'm leaning toward moving him below other QB prospects.

Personally, I think Barkley may be a better prospect and I think Barkley is not a clear cut franchise QB prospect.

I still like Landry Jones in round 2 or 3.
