doubt it.
He relies on the running game to set up the play action.
In the NFL, teams aren't going to bite on the fake that often. They are going to dare him to make the play. And making that play won't be quite so easy in the NFL.
He played well, but he looks right now like an NFL backup. I don't see him driving the ball into tight spaces and throwing guys open like an NFL starter needs to.
I doubt he comes out, and it will be a mistake if he does. McCarron has ability and intangibles, but he would benefit from returning to Alabama and getting stronger.
depends on if his gf is still with him

I'd stay if I was him, he'd have a legit chance at coming out with 4 BCS championship rings. Jesus.

He could go top 5 if he came out. They do play action in the nfl as well. He made some really nice throws vs LSU and ND. Look where Ponder, Gabbert, Tannehill, and Locker were drafted, and none of them performed as well as McCarron. Anyone in the top 7 besides Detroit could take a QB and nobody would bat an eye.
He's already said he is staying in school. Right now I'd put a 2nd-3rd Round grade on him.
I dont see the "It" from him and he's not asked to show it. Many of his throws are easier and he rarely throws any WR open which is a very big test for me. I think he's a manager who won't cost you a ball game.
COMING SOON...

And that's actually the downfall of playing QB for Alabama and why I would not advise a top recruit with NFL dreams to go there.
You dont have to really rise to the occasion or put the team on your back. Lack of tests. Not good for your career. Now, if you go to a lower level SEC school and have to play Alabama and play out of your mind for your team to have a chance, now that tells scouts something.
