    Holiday Season

What do you do to stay on track during the holiday season? Or do you just de-rail to get back on the tracks after New Years?

Wish I had an answer for this. Every year I say I'm not going to derail and every year I do.

Our gym usually closes for 2 weeks or so around the Holidays. I always say I'm going to work out at home- and I usually do, for the first 2 or 3 days. After that I get lazy.

Remind me right before the holidays and I'll stalk you on fb by asking you if you've worked out yet.

    Re: Holiday Season

    It's easy.

    Follow these simple steps.

    1) Drink an insane amount of water. No Coke, no Sprite, no empty calories in the form of liquid.

    2) Don't eat while watching TV. That's how people lapse into zombie mode and eat more than they intended.

    3) No fast food. If you find yourself in a drive-thru, take a few deep breaths and quickly force your fat feet to the metal and drive far, far away from Taco Bell.

    4) Eat slowly. Most people eat so fast that they don't realize they're full until they've eaten themselves into a diabetic coma.

    5) Remember that nothing tastes better than the sensation of being fit.

    6) If you don't like any of the first five steps, buy a moo-moo and buy a self help book that helps you cope with obesity.

    Re: Holiday Season

Good list. I like to fast for the morning and afternoon on days when I know my family and I will be going HAM on a holiday dinner. Lessens the damages and actually lowers appetite.
Also, play catch or something with the kids in the family beforehand to be active and do 100 pushups right before mealtime so all those calories have something useful to attend to haha

I have even excused myself from the table before dessert time so I could "go to the bathroom" and really just do 50 air squats and 50 pushups. Some people would call that cray, but those who dont know just think I'm fit/sexy/genetically gifted

    That's awesome.

You apparently have an addiction to healthy living.

Alcoholics hide booze around the house. Food addicts hide candy around the house. Bulimics excuse themselves to barf their gizzards out.

Mouldsie -- none of that bull**** -- he retreats to the can for a few top secret squat thrusts!
