Anyone want to organize the old "Fire Russ Brandon" signage? Should i kickstart this idea? anyone willing to donate?
partly joking, partly not.

Sorry, but after the Chin fiasco you'll not get many takers on this effort... I don't think any one really cares enough anymore.
In my day we did not have self-esteem... we had self-respect, and no more of it then we earned.

I think Russ is doing a fine job marketing the Bills.
Waste of time. He can't be fired if the only superior he has (Ralph Wilson) is no longer fully cognizant of his surroundings.

just sucks that he is the new problem. and in some ways is a problem much bigger than wilson ever was.
Russ Brandon is a genius. He gets us to continually pay money for an inferior product, which is unlike how consumers behave with any other product or service.
I'd be fine with letting him keep his job as long as he found a way to compensate us for his **** product, which is what we'd demand from any other product or service we pay for.
stop perpetuating this myth that it takes a genius to sell football in buffalo. The only reason they make money on this is that htey put fear into the community that they'd take this from us.
but the reality is that there are 32 teams and plenty of people willing to do this job much cheaper and be dedicated to the area. he is a snakeoil salesman and only has his own interests at heart. and it's either as sinister as somehow getting ownership shares in the sale of the team or its as pathetic as he thinks he knows what he's doing and he won't give up until he gets it right.
either way he is bad for this team. an honorable man would have stepped down a long time ago.
What's with the Russ Brandon hate? He's not the one who put this team together, he just sells the product.

As ceo and president he doesn't pick buddy nix? he doesn't change the strategy of picking low level HCs? he isn't responsible for naming himself GM? he isn't responsible for putting the money in Fitz' pocket? Had they simply not done that? they could have and would have had to take a qb in this draft class. and that alone could have made them a team with spunk.
He isn't responsible for not signing a lease that went from under $100MM to over $200MM in a matter of weeks? He isn't responsible for moving games to Toronto despite players and fans hating this arrangement?
Come on, you don't become president and CEO without having to be responsible for the negative impacts. he has been a sr exec for the 2000-present and nothing has gone right. is it easier to fire 53 men and the coaching staff or easier to part with someone who clearly is behind every stupid move ever made by the organization in the last 12 years?
I could be completely off-base because I don't know the inner-workings of the Bills but I've always assumed he deals more with the off-field product management than on-field now. I hated him as GM but don't really care now.
We're just looking for a scapegoat when the real problem is ownership.
If a new ownership group wanted to come in and clean house I wouldn't shed a tear, but firing him while Ralph is still alive is useless.

true, but if he at least was competent and interested in keeping the team here after ralph, i bet the inner workings of hte bills would be a lot smoother. He is smithers.
The only billboard that makes sense is a picture of Ralph on a hospital bed on life support with the wording underneath -- PLEASE PULL THE PLUG!!!
No.
Brandon isn't the big problem that some like to perceive him to be, IMO.
