i have to actually agree. i dont feel obama was great, or even good. he did ok considered what he was given, but overall, he could have been MUCH better.

Did you even read the opinion piece??

    Jesus.

Do you have ANY idea why the federal government is $16 trillion in debt??? Do you really want to blame Obama for that???

Why is that? Do you want to blame Obama for that??? Proof please, with specifics as to the exact policies of Obama's that caused this.

An ongoing foreclosure crisis, and home equity in the toilet.

The labor share of the GDP at its lowest point in history.
Why is that? Do you want to blame Obama for that??? Proof please, with specifics as to the exact policies of Obama's that caused this.

A re-empowered financial oligarchy, with banks growing larger than ever, and no criminal prosecutions against those who rigged the system and collapsed the economy,
Why is that? Do you want to blame Obama for that??? Proof please, with specifics as to the exact policies of Obama's that caused this.

no significant regulatory crackdown on robosigning and renegade foreclosures.
Sorry, but this is false. The Dodd-Frank law IS significant regulatory crackdown. Most significant regulatory legislation since the great depression.

A Health Care System that still puts corporate profit before people's lives.
Oh please. Why is that? Do you want to blame Obama for that??? Proof please, with specifics as to the exact policies of Obama's that caused this.

No strong action on Global Warming.

A slew of broken campaign promises
Nonsense. He fulfilled much more promises than not.

    - no effort to renegotiate NAFTA,
Please. What evidence is there of any desire to renegotiate NAFTA??? Now you are just being silly.

no ban on the replacement of striking workers,

This was passed before Obama became president. Are you now going to blame him for all the stuff you did not like that was passed before 2009??

an extension - not rollback - of Bush-era Civil Liberty incursions
    Oh please. What nonsense.

    An unprecedented war on whistleblowers,
    False hyperbole.

the morally atrocious drone bombing of Pakistan and Yemen,
Sorry, but terrorism is much more morally atrocious than fighting it.

    and Executive Assassination Lists.
one of his good achievements. Instead of bluster and cowboy swagger, we get a president with real balls that is waging the fight than needs to be fought.

    But hey, he saved Detroit.
    Yes, he did.

Great President my ass. There's a reason he's in a dogfight with a humorless muppet like Romney.
You obviously did not read the opinion piece either.

I almost forgot Necoli...Obama was not in a "dog fight" against Romney. That was a figment of the right wing echo chambers imagination.

Smart people followed Nate Silver and he had Obama up comfortably for the full campaign.

Obama won by a very large Electoral College margin. Outside the racist GOP addled south, he won going away 55-45. He beat Romney's ass in every swing state he targeted.

Simply put, despite the lies hurled his way since 2007, he won BIG.

Do something worthwhile with your time up there in Renfrew. It's even metric.

    Flipper Pie

    4 seal flippers
    1 L water
    500 ml soda
    125 ml fatback
    250 ml milk
    2 onions, chopped
    5 ml salt
    60 ml flour
    250 ml cold water
    5 ml Worcestershire sauce

    * Soak flippers in of water and soda. Trim off excess fat.
    * Dry flippers and dip in seasoned flour.
    * Brown in fatback. Add onions and make a gravy of flour, water, and sauce. Pour over flippers.
    * Cover and bake at 180 C for 2-3 hours.
    * Make a pastry and cover the flippers. Bake at 200 C for 30 minutes.

I can't remember anyone giving me a good reason as to the motivation behind all of this. Seems like all the Obama haters came out of the woodwork but can't supply any credible story as to why there was this "supposed" cover up...

Do you remember them at all? There's a clue for you.

As for "covering up", that's utter horse shee-ite. This was made into a political talking point by the Romney campaign, plain and simple. American foreign offices are always at risk. Anyone that tells you otherwise is either an ignoramus, like you, or worse... making political hay, which is repugnant.

This has nothing to do with Benghazi.

It has everything to do with the republicans wanting John Kerry's Senate seat.
