Pathway to citizenship? You mean for those brought hear illegally as small children that win all the awards in high school and college? I think there should be something in the way of allowing those individuals become citizens... Is there another immigration issue I am missing?

For all undocumented immigrants.
Only way repubs can compete with free is to up the offer. Repubs should propose that all undocumented immigrants (pc for illegals ) should go to the post office fill out a postcard (like selected services) and receive full citizenship in return...
Next propose that all hospitals cease and desist any billing practices. Treat any and all who ask...
Send each and every citizen a $500/week tax free check for expenses and entertainment...
raise tax rate on top 10 to 95%, no deductions. Print or borrow any additional "revenue" needed...
Just some starting points for repubs to get back into the game....
Remember big brother is always watching....

Poor Alf, a Kansas Republican who could not even win Kansas (that will never again happen in a presidential election. A Kansas Democrat could lose the state of Kansas, but never again would a Kansas Republican lose a presidential election in the state of Kansas). Actually, its not so much that Alf was a lousy candidate as much as it was that FDR was able to show he was working to get us out of the collapse of 1929. ****, if FDR didn't try to pack the courts in 1937, there would be no RNC. I am serious, it would have ceased to exist. Also, I am quite confident that we would have had a European style universal healthcare system by the end of the 1930s if the court packing scandal hadn't had happened. Don't believe me? Google what happened in 1930, 1932, 1934, and 1936 in the congressional and presidential elections, and the gubenatorial elections. Another party would have risen to take its place, but the GOP would have been no more.
