Las Vegas business owner fires 22 ‘mostly Hispanic’ employees over Obama win
A business owner in Las Vegas on Wednesday told a CBS radio station that he had fired 22 of his 114 “mostly Hispanic” employees because President Barack Obama had won re-election.
.
.
.
David noted that he had “mostly Hispanic” employees and some had come to work wearing Obama shirts on election day.
“I have to build up that nest egg now for the taxes and regulations that are coming my way,” he explained. “Elections do have consequences, but so do choices.”
“I don’t need the labor force coming down saying I laid people off because they are Hispanic, I don’t need the headache. We are in a right-to-work state, but I did inform people that I would possibly had to be making layoffs. I did make the notification 30 days ago. I followed the laws.”

For every a-hole like that CEO or people like you, there are others who can be admired...yes, elections have consequences...we're still trying to recover from the last president and his 8 yrs!!!

CEO Who Said He'd Fire Employees if Obama Was Reelected Gives Them Raises Instead
I reported a month ago that David Siegel, the chief executive of Westgate Resorts, a timeshare company, had sent a letter to his employees telling them that they’d better think twice about who they voted for, because if Barack Obama was reelected he might fire some of them, because “my motivation to work and to provide jobs will be destroyed, and with it, so will your opportunities.”
Well, now that Obama has been reelected, how has Siegel responded? The billionaire, who is also famous for attempting to build the biggest home in America, a 90,000-square-foot, $100 million mansion, has flip-flopped.
He was interviewed by BloombergBusinessWeek yesterday and said that right after the election he had given all his employees a raise. Asked first if he’d be laying any of them off, he said, “I don’t know,” but then he added, “I’m going to work my hardest to keep the company going and expand the best I can. We’ll see what happens. Meanwhile I gave everybody in the company a raise this week—the average was 5%.”

My favorite I've seen so far was a guy complaining that Obama won because more illegal immigrants voted than white people.
Chief executive of a timeshare company. Translation: a thief.
Gailey's history. He just doesn't know it yet.
I was pretty well disgusted by some Republican personalities manifesting sour grapes over the lost election. One in particular that I remember, Ted Nugent (whoever he is) predicted that Americans would regret voting for Obama when the economy sours. I don't recall exactly how he said it. I really don't know what the economy is going to do over the next couple years, and I don't think Ted Nugent does either, but whether he's right or wrong, saying it doesn't help anybody and only makes him look small.
I'm not a Democrat, and it's pretty rare that I actually vote for a Democrat in an election, but guys, man up and admit that there's something about your message that is not appealing to enough Americans to win an election. Then either change your platform or figure out some way to convince voters that you're right.
I've made up my mind. Don't confuse me with the facts.
A wise man doesn't waste effort telling the world he's wise. If it's true, it will be self-evident.

I love Republican whine!!! Mmmmmmmm!!!
These morons just refuse to deal with reality. The big meme I keep hearing is how Hurricane Sandy did Romney in!!!
LMAO
Once again their bubble shields them from the reality of just how fcked up their party is.
Cuz the reality is that polls show Mitt had already lost momentum and Obama had already taken the lead by the time Sandy showed up!!
Losers!!!
On facebook I had an argument w/a conservative girl about how delusional Americans have become and that Romney and Republicans aren't the problem, the general majority of voters are...
