    This man pissed off the powers that be. You don't resign in disgrace over an affair. If that were true then 2/3's of the senate would have been tossed out on their asses over the years.

    Petraeus crossed some powerful people and now he's paid the price.

    Petraeus was never very bright, but he knew who to suck up to.

    A useless waste of space. Good riddance.
