It'll be interesting, that's for sure. The toughest defense he faced this season was Stanford, and he was miserable that game if I recall correctly. Barkley has had an insanely productive college career, and none of it came from a gimmick offense.

And none of it came against good defenses either. If Barkley played in the SEC, I doubt Kiper would have him going in the first rnd.

what's hilarious to me is that there are numerous college football scandals. and all those guys come into the nfl at some point and we are just supposed to believe that there are no cheating scandals at this level. it's absurd.

The assumption that's been made is that this was due to Barkley having small hands. The underinflated balls make it easier for someone with smaller hands to grip the ball. If true, this is a significant red flag, one he may end up having in common with Claussen. The combine is going to be critical for Barkley. Now Tannehill's hands are a bit on the small side too, and he's doing pretty well with Miami. Teams are going to have to pay very close attention to Barkley, however.

Had the exact same thought. Ill be curious to get Barkley's hand measurement at the Senior Bowl or Combine.

EVERY team in the SEC plays defense well. No other conference in the entire Country plays defense as well as it is played in the SEC that is a fact.

the SEC has 6 of the top 9 teams in college football for a reason.

The league is loaded from top to bottom in O-line talent, and Defensive talent. There is nothing overrated about the SEC. The dominance of the SEC over the rest of college football is pretty real.

As to Alabama, they lost to another SEC team. In fact the last few years i think 'bama's only losses have been in conference. That's just how strong the conference is. This year the disparity is particularly bad.
