BBD: A New Breed Of OLB Is Coming

    http://www.buffalobillsdraft.com/201...olb-is-coming/

Despite all the money that the Bills paid this offseason on their pass rush, they’re still unable to generate any on a consistent basis. Getting use out of the linebacker position might also be one of the key concerns for Buffalo this offseason. As one of the worst units in the NFL, the Bills linebacking corps has missed tackles, blown coverage assignments, and cost the team more games this year than any year in the past. The solution might come in the form of one man: Anthony Barr.
Only a junior, but mighty impressive. Could be the solution for defenses who are getting eaten up by the new age athletic TE's.
    COMING SOON...

Love it. I'm on the same page with you... your article addresses the issue I see for us as well. I've been wanting to explore the OLB's more and gain insight into who and what might work. Great article, very timely.

"A New Breed Of OLB Is Coming" - but not to Buffalo. We will go with the old school, useless kind

I'd like to hear anyone else you think might fit that mold. Like I said, I admit ignorrance in this area. But here's a few I thought of:

Jelani Jenkins- Maybe slimmer than your average OLB? Maybe fits the quicker mold?
    Gerald Hodges- Just a fan.
Alec Ogeltree- I think he's more of a SS than a ILB. So much so that I wonder if he could move outside in this new OLB role.
