    After yesterday's game...

Is anyone ready to step up and tell me how much better the "real" referees are than the replacement refs?

At least when the replacements were screwing up calls, it was balanced. The Bills had double the penalties for more than double the yardage yesterday.

It'll be interesting to see if the officials are "held accountable," as was the big reason for the NFL locking them out to begin with.

If I were to guess, they're more likely to be assigned the Super Bowl than to be reprimanded.

Couldn't agree more, I knew as soon as these refs came back it would be the same song and dance. The "elite" teams get calls in their favor consistently.

The only way to stop it is to become an elite team.

Terrible job in the first half, specifically on the PI calls.

if the calls were so bad the other way, this would have been the lead story. if the bills got 21 points because of shoddy calls, and the pats lost by 6, i am pretty sure those refs would be laughed right out the league. Peter King would have a story about how awful this was and they'd say how they have an evaluation methodolgy to keep bad refs out of the playoffs.

I bet this dick jauron ref will be a prominent figure in the playoffs. and i wonder who he will continue to aid. The nfl is becoming a soap opera of predictability.

For the record, yesterday's referee, Bill Leavy, was the Referee in charge of Super Bowl XL (Steelers vs Seahawks).
