Another one of Buddy Nix's failed picks.

    Re: Aaron Maybin cut

I'm annoyed that the guy made millions for doing nothing but happy that he's unemployed. It couldn't have happened to a more deserving person.

First, the guy holds out. Then, he shows up underweight, but somehow found the time to make a rap song about how great he is. Then he proceeds to do NOTHING while getting millions from the Bills. Then, when they finally cut him, he goes out and talks ****. He could have just walked away as yet another failed Buffalo draft pick, but he had to bring all this big ego crap along with him.

**** him. He's from this area, so hopefully I'll see him frying up some wings the next time my friend and I stop into Cluck U for a bucket before a game.

Nix didn't pick Maybin, Russ Brandon did. But that's been pointed out to you before. You dislike facts.

with the jets QB woes, you'd think they'd let Maybin have a chance. you know, let him know what it's like to be inside a pocket.

Nix was the national scouting director. There is no doubt his poor talent evaluating skills played a role in Maybin's stock.

He knows what it's like to be in a pocket, he went deep into Ralph's pockets.

Jauron was the one who wanted Maybin. When Nix was hired as GM, at his press conference he specifically stated that he doesn't believe in drafting one year wonders. English translation is: Buddy "I wouldn't have drafted Maybin if I was in charge."

What a horrible pick. There's no doubt that he's got to be the worst in Bills history, but he might be one of the worst in NFL history as well.

Reminds me of the offseason delusions that the Bills and fans have here.

I guess they don't want to risk an F grade in College by taking a personal finance class.

He's from the MD suburbs of DC, not far from where I live.

I'll be sure to give him a nice tip when he's done toweling my car dry at the car wash.

Speculation at best. Do you KNOW Buddy Nix had Maybin higher rated than Orakpo? Because that's the issue. Maybin was highly rated on every mock draft leading up to the draft. He was going to be taken early by someone that's a fact. And someone was going to get burned.

you think it's speculation that Nix, as national scouting director, had a hand in the Maybin pick? So, what you are suggesting is that the Bills paid him to be scouting director, ignored his advice on draft day even though they paid for it, then promoted him to GM even though they thought so highly of his advice that they ignored it.

Erik Flowers, Perry Tuttle, JP Losman, Tom Consineau, JD Williams, Jeff Burris, damn we've had a bunch of stinkers.

    Could be.

"Gee Buddy, why should we promote you to GM?"
"Because I would've never drafted Maybin."

so because he's a scouting director that means he told the Bills to pull the trigger on Maybin? That's also speculation.
