If it was a shorter conversion and our QB wasn't playing like utter crap I'd agree. But if you go for it and succeed, you are still 40 yards (likely) from the game-tying TD, and if you fail they are 15 yards from the game winning FG. It worked. We pinned them inside their own 5 with three timeouts. And then our D pissed down its own leg per usual.
