All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!

in the billion to 1 shot that the Steelers finish 2-2 and the Bungles finish 2-2, AND we win out, who gets in?
First tiebreaker is head-to-head...does not apply to the Bills though it would to PIT/CIN. PIT won the first game @CIN.
First applicable tiebreaker for the Bills is conference record. If the Bills win out, they will be 6-6 in the conference. PIT is 4-5 in the AFC with games SD, @DAL, CIN, CLE. CIN is 5-5 with DAL, @PHI, @PIT, BAL.
After that, it's best record in common games. That gets pretty complicated. Between PIT and BUF, they are both 2-2 in common games with PIT having CLE still and BUF having NYJ. Between CIN and BUF, both are 3-2 with BUF still to play NYJ and @MIA.
If 3-way, the Bills are 2-0 with NYJ and @MIA, PIT is 1-1 with CLE, and CIN is 2-1. IF the Bills split, they win that tie-breaker.
Steelers should lose....no way Batch can lead the team over the Ravens on the road. I would be shocked
If you watched the game Batch had three or so bad throws and a bunch of good ones. Not bad for a backup. Come to think of it he looked better than Fitz.
Basically the Steelers and Bengals two losses would need to be to AFC teams giving them both a conference record of 5-7.
Both clubs face 2 NFC opponents in their last 4 games. They play each other week in game # 15, then CIN faces BAL and PIT faces CLE in game 16. So looks like things will go down to the wire re BUF's AFC record competition for a WC spot.
