If the Bills make the playoffs this wont make a difference. They are not good enough to compete with the top teams. Just look at what happens whenever the Bills played a contender this year... So even if the they sneak in somehow and get lucky they are not nearly good enough to Win.

Now for the few of you who will argue that this is somehow helping the team go to the next step...it seems that you are confused and short sighted. This is not the Colts, Bucs, Seahawks or one of the other young teams which playoff experience will help mold into contenders... No, this is the team that will need to find a franchise QB irregardless of how many more games they win...

The goal is never to simply "make the playoffs." The goal is always to win a Super Bowl. You cannot win a Super Bowl until you make the playoffs. Thats why the fans always focus on making the playoffs.

Anything can happen in the playoffs, the past regular season does not matter.

What makes anyone think we are making the playoffs?

We won and it was a well-played game, but it was against Jacksonville at home in bad weather that was well-suited for our running game and poorly suited for their suddenly-relevant passing attack. They made a lot of mistakes and essentially out-Buffalo'd Buffalo by screwing up after taking an early lead.

And, even if this team wins out by some miracle, don't forget that all the AFC losses and the head-to-head losses to the Colts and maybe Tennessee are going to hold us back. We would still need a LOT of help.

We're probably going 7-9 or 8-8 at best, so I wouldn't sweat the playoffs.

One, the bills making the playoffs means that something catastrophic happened to country, namely in cities in the South and/or North.

Two, if they get in, i agree, anything can happen. but the bills will lose dramatically. they just can't compete. They are poorly coached and often times the players just check out when the going gets tough. also, the bills would have to play 4 playoff games to win a superbowl. i give them like 30% chance of winning 1 game. 4...in a row...on the road...with national exposure. not sure if there is anything funnier than that last sentence.

Three, irregardless is not a word. it's just regardless.
