Pacquiao vs Marquez IV -- any takers?

I don't fully understand why there's a fourth installment to this rivalry.

Pacquiao is the better fighter and demonstrated that rather handily in the previous two meetings.

Anyone gonna be watching it this weekend? I love boxing -- especially since there are no Sabres of meaningful Bills games (as always) -- but this fight smells like a dud.

    What's your prediction?

I seen the last fight closed-circuit in Vegas and I can tell you that was very close. Marquez could have easily gotten that decision. Everyone in the place was booing the decision after.

That being said I will still take Paq. to win again tonight.

My money is on Pacman too.

Probably TKO in the 8th or 9th.

    Wow.

Pacman suffered one of the most devastating knockouts I've ever seen.

I was very, very wrong about this fight.

    Anyone see it?

Where did Marquez get this this middlewieght power from, I know he has a punch, but something doesn't look right to me. Could it be that admitted steroid dealer Angel Heredia (Angel Hernandez) is his new strength coach, this guy has no business being around any athlete. Also how did all three judges have Pacquiao only ahead by 1 point thru 5 rounds, I seen Marquez winning only the 3nd round and even though he had a knock down in that round Pacquiao had one later. With this fight having nothing to do with it, boxing is becoming a joke to me, I find it harder and harder to watch.

Re: Pacquiao vs Marquez IV -- any takers?

    I saw it.

That was basically the same punch he knocked Pacquiao down with earlier in the fight- counter overhand right. Paq probably thought he was safe because it was late in the round and he also hit Marquez in the face as he was moving past, which usually takes enough power out of the other guy's punch that it doesn't do much even if it lands. But Marquez powered through and got the spectacular knockout. There's a reason why they teach fighters to move away from the other guy's power hand and not towards it.

Pacquiao was winning the fight before that too....
