I thought the Eyewitness News mantra was "It's 11:00, do you know where your children are?" Words I lived by when my son was growing up.

I miss old school News, Irv Weinstein, Huntley and Brinkley, and especially Walter Chronkite. Sports with Azar, Van Miller and the network NFL guys.

News has become infotainment, the bigger the bombast, the better. At least in their mind. Rational discussion shows have turned into screaming matches. It's whatever sells and how outrageous you can be.

are you STILL going on about voter ID? it wasnt about ID. it was about putting the laws in place without allowing those without IDs time to get an ID, thus not allowing them to vote. it was voter suppression, and it didnt work. the laws can be put in place now, and it would allow those without IDs time to obtain them. just as well, voter fraud was virtually non existent, so whats the point?
