The best thing TCU has going for them is their head coach, but it is a tougher go now playing in that conference.
You continue to ignore facts and make things up to fit your narrative.
Facts are the Big-12 is a tougher conf. then the Mountain West.
That isn't even up for debate.
TCU now will be playing a tougher schedule every year, thus no more freebie wins against bad teams, thus no 12-0 talk and crying about getting left out of a NC game.
With or without their qb they were not going undefeated in that conf.
None of which has any bearing on the facts of what occurred this season but you continue demonstrate an unwillingness to accept fact and instead make up your own to fit your narrative.

What a terrible game. Was never in doubt and NIU was totally overmatched.
Waste of a BCS game. They had no business being in the game and it showed. Boring and uninspired.

Even with a fake punt, onside kick, some questionable ref calls, and the combo of fisher/manuel and NIU still couldn't make it competive.
They were lucky to even make an occasional first down.
I guess Clemson had no business being there last year either.
Did you watch the game ? If, so nothing else needs to be said.
Yeah, Clemson got destroyed by West Virginia. They had no business being in that game.
What happened the NIU is what everyone knew would happen, they were overmatched physically.
Physically Clemson could matchup, they just sucked and got crushed.
Did you know NIU's strength of schedule was ranked #120....with #1 being the toughest.
It was a bad mistake and I doubt you will ever see a MAC team again in a BCS bowl game.
Unless another team earns it way in, of course.
