I'm sure when Alabama beats ND you'll come back and crow about how the SEC has won X number of NC's in a row.
So we have that to look forward to.
I said you need to strive to better than everyone else. I didn't say you needed to be better than everyone else. But you gotta try. That's what character is. It's in the try.
SEC NCs are so LAST YEAR, which basically means nothing.
Meanwhile, this year, a Big East team that the "experts" said didn't deserve to be in the Sugar Bowl trounced an obviously overmatched Florida team.
So while the "experts" are beating their chests about how much they know about college football, the actual games being played on the field prove that they don't really know much at all.

The SEC is the best conference.. but other good programs in other conferences actually exist !

Who knows for sure, going to the ACC may keep him there.
His strong Florida ties may have him looking if Muschamp lay's an egg next season.
I was surprised he passed on Tenn though so maybe he is content in Louisville.
I also wouldn't be surprised if the NFL comes calling eventually.
I fully expect Bama to win Monday, 31-13 , but I wouldn't be shocked if ND won. ND is actually built like and plays like an SEC team and their defensive front seven is very good and physical.
I do know this, Saban will have Bama ready, and if they lose it won't be from being unprepared.
Either way, win or lose, you won't hear from me until at least Wed.
I think if a big job opened up in Florida he'd jump ship (FSU, Miami, UF).
If you're in charge of a up-and-coming ACC team that just whooped an SEC team in the Sugar Bowl, why would you leave? The ACC is much easier to win than the SEC. You don't have to worry about juggernauts like Bama, LSU, Florida, USC, and UGA every year. In general, beat out VaTech, FSU, and Miami and you're golden. Need to boost OOC schedule though.

Clemson also.
People assuming Strong would jump to an SEC program are ignoring he had heavy interest from Tennessee and Arkansas and spurned both to stay at Louisville. Let's not forget Florida was the program that passed him over for a job multiple times for poorer candidates, but no Im sure he hold no ill will towards that program. That whole being black thing isn't really a big deal after all...
COMING SOON...
