I really think they need to bring Lovie in, a coach with a winning record that wants to come in and utilize our talent (not shy away from it like the last coach) and who can actually get the players on this team to buy into winning. Yea he missed the playoffs this year but he still won 10 games. He has a winning record in one of if not the toughest divisions in football and his players will follow him into a fire.

Please OBD make the right choice for once and get this done.

All I can say is I am happy they are not "leaving a stone unturned". Just remember what 3 years ago was like fellas...this is a much different animal.

This year is not anything like 3 years ago. We couldn't even get coaches to come in. Now we are interviewing all of the top candidates...can't ask for much more than that. I trust those guys to make the right decision now with Brandon with final say. We shall see...

BN: Mr. Smith, I know you be a big city football coach and so we don't need to ask you about the football stuff. No, I am gonna have to ask you the important "life" questions

BN: Well good, now coach, you and the missus be buying a home. Do you take the normal trailer or the doublewide or do you done get one of them fancy schmanzy things with a basement? And why?

BN: Okay then, now Mr. Coach which of these be a good way to spend a day off? Nascar, Big tent revival, hunting or gun show, or fly fishing?
LS: Uh, I don't really care for those, maybe the big tent revival.
BN: What, how you not like the fast cars and the hunting, well moving on, Mr. Smith, if I give you this box of chawbakka how accurately can you spit into this here spittoon?

BN: Okay, well can youse whistle dixie?
                      LS: Awkwardly, uh no?

Funny, but you do realize that western NY is far more Arkansas than Manhattan, right? I was in Buffalo over the holidays and saw multiple nascar jackets in addition to the squirrel hunting conversation I unfortunately overheard.

Don't get me wrong. I love it. I love both ways of life for different reasons. Just need to be honest with ourselves.
