Like Chan Gailey was ready? Like Mularkey was ready? Like Manboobs was ready? This is gonna be a long season.

Chan didn't have any lemmings. I don't think anyone liked the hire.
I know I didn't. You take it for what it's worth. At the time, Chan was the only coach who would step near our joke of a roster.

Gailey was promoted to Bills HC after being fired as OC in KC before the season started-just like we did with Turk Schonert. If some NFL team had hired Schonert as HC after we fired him in preseason, we would have thought they were nuts. Yet many believed in Chan in spite of this.
No comparison to a successful NFL assistant who turned around a dead program & then got the Bills' HC gig.
Mularkey & Williams never head coached at the level Marrone has-THERE IS NO COMPARISON WITH THE 3 LOSERS YOU MENTIONED. BTW-you left out Jauron.

Hes not even close to what we had when we hired Gailey. Come on now guys

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I flipped when I first heard and while I'm still not crazy with the choice over Lovie, the more I learn about Marrone the more I like the option. I'm giving the guy a chance to bring in the right supporting staff first.
Good quotes from his former players.
We'll see. Love the lemmings label. IF you're willing to give someone a chance, you're brain dead moron. Killing a guy before he's even stepped on the field on the other hand is straight genius. God bless Billszone, where only the most informed fans gather!
Lets face it, the majority of the fanbase was going to hate any hire that wasn't Chip Kelly. They interviewed McCoy, Whiz, Lovie, Chip who never wanted the job in the first place, Horton and obviously Marrone. The only other guy I would have liked to see them go after was Greg Roman, maybe a couple of other college coaches.

I was sad when we hired Chan. But he was pretty much the only coach willing to take the job. I like Marrone's resume. And he has time to hire a good staff. I like it
Let's give Marrone a chance guys! I'm nervous about him but this is the first hire since Williams I at least have hope for. I knew Mularkey, Jauron, and Gailey would fail the day they were hired!
THE END OF ALL DAYS (01-07-2013)
There is only a tree with dead branches. It should be called the Ernie Adams coaching tree.
