With such a short time frame- are we going to do an auto draft? While I hate those- it would be the fairest since im sure most of us cant get to a live draft all at the same time.

We've had a league running for 3 to 4 years now on ESPN (which Dozer has won every year). I'm not sure if we have everybody back. New owners would be needed if some people didn't come back. I'll have to check when I get home from work.

How does this even work?
There are a few kinds. Straight points and wins for Goalies or you can add categories for shots, saves, PPG, SHG and really whatever. One I played had head to head matchups with 8 categories. G, A, Shots, PPG and Saves, Save %, Wins and Shutouts. You got a win loss or tie for each category. There are salary ones where you buy a roster with how ever much salary and get the points for who you have on your team. Really tons of variety in the games. Not sure which one the ESPN one is though.

I think it is usually for a week. Well the head to head ones are.

it's head to head for a week at a time. you "draft" your team from all the players in the NHL and have to set your roster for each nights games. once you set your roster for the night you are good and don't have to worry about it, the computers will take care of the rest.

But you can go in on, say, a Sunday and set your whole team for the whole week so you don't have to go in every night to set it.

as this is a "keeper" league for us new guy's do we get to keep players from the team we took over, or do we start from scratch?
