So, DTV decided it didn't want to record the first period. I turned it on right as the 2nd started to see Vanek in the box of a double minor? Wtf?

To be fair, the Sabres got two or 3 scoring chances right after he came out of the box, largely due to Vanek's play. But that's the kind of huge mistake that hurts the team. The first penalty, fine, but the additional two for unsportsmanlike is inexcusable. Teams will not win when their top players pull that crap.

Noticed too late, but the game may have been on 638 non HD the whole time.

It is ridiculous the amount of abuse he takes out there, I know they can't call a penalty every play, but this is crazy today.

Ennis has been useless. I know we had to move Roy, but I was really hoping we got someone better offensively then Ott. Roy will have a big season, and will double Ott's points I would be willing to bet.

LOL, keep banging that drum.

He took an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty, and an offensive zone penalty with just over 2 min left in a game where his team was down by one goal. All his offensive heroics did was negate the stupid ****. At the end, it's break-even. He hurt the team as much as he helped.

And this is the alternate captain with the biggest cap hit who is supposed to be the best offensive player on the team.
