Agree 100%. However Marchand of all people should not whine about calling TO so he could put Scott out there to make sure nothing is started by the Bruins. If roles were reversed and Ott said it I would say the same thing.
The Bruins awful performance speaks louder than anything Marchy said to the media. That's how I am feeling about the game right nwo.

But you are right when you said the Sabres would have to beat Boston again for this game to really mean anything. Boston probably took the Sabres a little light due to past history but I'm sure Boston will be ready for the next meeting. Let's see how the Sabres react when the Bruins come to really play.
Kinda. I don't think the Bruins took them lightly, I just think the Sabres were all-in. But this was a slap in the face, so let's see how they respond, on the road.

Cut & dry isn't it ?? Hearing the Boston coach saying I didn't send my goons out at the end to fight is a joke, why did he put them out there with only ~15 seconds left ? Ruff bascally played it that if they want to fight, fight Scott. After concussing a different Bruins player, that wasn't going to happen. Scott basically knocked out Thornton, single-handedly.

Well, that only partially makes up for being senor swiss cheese in the second.
Scott had more ice time for the whole game than MacDermid did.
