    Thornton has concussion

Gr reporting (Facebook) that Thornton got a concussion from his fight with Scott. Might be time to think about hanging them up if he is going to start getting concussions.

When you have a 278 lbs man crushing your skull, it maybe time to choose your fights better.

Well, that was 16 seconds of ice time that proved to be not worth it.

I hope whe we play the Bruins again that he smarts off to Scott, then Scott can make sure he can only drink from a straw.

You guys take **** way to personal. If Scott could have half the career Thornton has had being an enforcer he'd be very fortunate.

He has 6" on Shawn, that gives him a huge advantage. They'll do it again too, because that's their job.
I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?"
"Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet.
You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times."
    It was all
true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach.
He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can
mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

Well, "legal" is subjective. Cooke hits Savard, and Pittsburgh has no problem with it while Boston cries foul.

Then Lucic cheap shots Miller and suddenly Boston doesn't care about concussions.

Meanwhile, Crosby gets concussions and suddenly it's all Pittsburgh cares about....

    Karma's a *****.

Actually I was thinking about it...legal is the wrong word because Scott got 5 minutes for punching him in the head and Thorton got 5 for receiving...I should have said "At least this concussion wasn't from a cheap shot."

It takes 2 to tango, Lucic hit on Miller was a one-sided cheap shot.

Yeah, it's personal when one of your goons slashes our top skaters leg out in the playoffs. It's personal when your boy Lucic deliberately runs our goalie and basically tanks our season and then is allowed to wiggle out of it by the league.

This is just a bit of payback. I hope to see more.

Not a fan of any player getting a concussion no matter who is the player.
