All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!

Re: Best player that never played in a Super Bowl?
Barry Sanders is the obvious choice.
But there's a case to be made for a lot of guys.
Dan Fouts was prolific and was the key to an offense that revolutionized the NFL, and he never made it to a SB. Earl Cambell was an amazing back but could never break past the Steelers. Eric Dickerson never had QB help. Randall Cunningham, Cris Carter, Ladainian Tomlinson.
Re: Best player that never played in a Super Bowl?
Derrick Thomas, LB KC Chiefs --lousy father, but good community service guy and HOF LB
Jack Kemp, QB he's border line but if we had beaten the Chiefs in the 66 AFL title game he would have been in the first superbowl and that team was a match in so many ways for the Packers
Randall Cunningham
Warren Moon
Heywood Jeffries
Ernest Givens
Cortez Kennedy DE Seahawks
Chris Spielman, LB Lions, Bills, Browns
Pat Williams DT, Bills Vikings
Will Shields
Willie Roaf
Jerry Ball
Sterling Sharpe, TE Green Bay if he didn't get injured he would have had even better stats than Shannon

LMAO at Jefferies and Givens. They were products of the system and Warren Moon.
Oh, and Sterling Sharpe was a great WR, not TE.
I also don't know about the '66 Bills. They lost 35-7 at home to the Chiefs who had a great defense in their own right. We were falling off. I do think the '64 team would have matched up well with the Browns and the '65 team with the Packers.
