All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!

Boston @ Buffalo - The Welcome to the Bottom Ice party - GDT
Re: Boston @ Buffalo - The Welcome to the Bottom Ice party - GDT
Anton is going to be in net for Boston again.
I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?" "Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet. You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times."
It was all true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach.
He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

I believe I have said it here already but I think he could be the starter next season.

Re: Boston @ Buffalo - The Welcome to the Bottom Ice party - GDT
remember that year like 2 or 3 years ago where every team we played at one point was playing their back up against us and we kept losing.
the proof is in the market. if other teams are going to trot out their back ups routinely against us, it doesn't matter what pegula, reiger, black think about this unit. the nhl sees us as a walk over, doesn't take much effort to beat these guys team.
Do the sabres need this to be pointed out to them or do you think they'll finally get it? My guess, they'll just say, "hey, this is a multiple games per week schedule, we will face some backups. all is ok. by the way why are all the other sabres fans on life rafts. This boat is floating perpendicular to the water because it's excellent!"
