UDFA - Keith Pough LB - Howard

A lot of the exposure concerning Buffalo’s undrafted rookie free agents has gone to Tennessee Tech WR Da’Rick Rogers. In terms of football ability many NFL teams had a first or second round grade on him, including Buffalo. Obviously his off the field history had him go undrafted. Though Buffalo landed him there is an undrafted prospect coming in at a position of need that is viewed as an even bigger steal...

He's gonna eat him some Mark Gino Garrard for supper.

I hope he makes the team. Lord knows we need help at linebacker. Lots of "IF's" with this draft class.
    Send me some wings!

I hope he can play like that at the next level because from what I have seen this guy has all the tangibles to be a big time LB. I'm actually a bit more excited about Pough than I am Alonso.

He's a little undersized and I liked him as a WILL LB in a 43 but inside in a 34 he could be valuable as a cover guy and a pure tackler.

32 teams passed him over 7 times.

              A cover LB ?? That's heresy!

If you listen to the Sal's last podcast, he had a guest on that's a regional scout for small colleges and knows Keith Pough very well. This guy just LOVES him.

I liked what I read about Moats, Carrington, Batten, Easley , Carder, when we drafted them. I have learned not to get excited about late round picks anymore.

He gets to top speed in like two steps. His learning curve will be a bit steeper when he finds out those angles he took in college aren't there in the NFL.

They've been wrong before, Kurt Warner, Jason Peters, London Fletcher, Wes Welker, etc, etc.
