even if it looks good, i'd rather have a white classic jersey than get this 3rd jersey. maybe i'd be more excited about a 3rd jersey if i liked the team's direction.

I've read in a few places that the back of the jersey (sweater---whatever) will be all blue, which I like. I think you're pretty close, otherwise.

I read it on icethetics' twitter feed. It's referenced in some of the reader comments in his blog posts, but I can't find the original comment. I hope it's an all navy back. That way it won't look too much like the Bruins' 3rd.

When he refers to the "large swath of blue" he's referring to earlier specualtion regarding the back of the sweater being all blue.

I do, matter of fact he mentioned me in the blog update about the wordmark. I sent a photo from the stock room at the Sabres Store first, but used another photo with better lighting.

better yellow/gold than the other pictures and it looks like the stripe is white not gray as it looks like in the other photos as well.

As much as I want the back to be blue, I'm not sure that this pics proves it. That could still be a side stripe, like the idiotic one on the Donahoe era Bills uniforms.

But I do think the back will be blue, and I think these are going to look great.
