All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

It's not just Hughes and Blatnick, but also Manny Lawson that makes Anderson expendable.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?
The dead money is spread over 2 years, though. He has $1.5M in bonus allocation and $500K in guaranteed salary so they have $2M in dead money this year. His old cap number was $4M so they saved some room in 2013. He will count another $3M in dead money next year, though.
So? By cutting him we have another 2 million in cap room to add to our 18 million in cap room. There's no one to sign with that. And if we cut him next year, we'd have the exact same $3 million hit.
The Cincinnati Bengals released defensive end Jamaal Anderson, formerly a top-10 overall pick by the Atlanta Falcons in 2007. Anderson now must try his luck in free agency.
Im surprised that we cut him honestly...i know his cap # was definitely the reason why but the damage he did in his career was in the 3-4, and I thought Pettine could make some good use of him.
News flash..the Patriots cut players for a reason...just because we look up to them as a franchise doesn't mean that their garbage will make us better. Hopefully, Whaley understands this going forward :)
"The government's view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it."

everone associated with the bills last season thought they were a couple players away from prime time so cheap ralph shelled out the huge bucks to land the top two pass rushing free agents. nobody knew that anderson would injure himself early and be a non-factor so they get a pass there. the mistake of the fans was thinking he was more than he had always been - a situational pass rusher only
if he was healthy im sure they would have given him another shot to recapture his '12 magic
I'll be curious to see what this means for the OLB rotation along with who they bring in with the one open roster spot they now have. Outside of the guys mentioned by others (Hughes, Lawson, Blatnick) I'd be interested to see what Kourtnei Brown does. He's a physical specimen out of Clemson (6'4, 253, 4.7 40) and could be a late bloomer. Also this gives Howard star Keith Pough a better shot at the roster.
COMING SOON...
