All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

I never understood it when everyone was saying that the Bills made a big splash in free agency last year by signing Mario Williams AND Mark Anderson. Never got that "and," like Mark Anderson was a big deal in any way.
This move does surprise me quite a bit though. I guess he was worse than worthless to the Bills. More money to eat.
that, or hughes blatnick are just as good rushing the passer in otas... the byrd situation and hughes made him expendable. hughes was especially lighting it up though
Are they even wearing pads in OTAs to genuinely be able to evaluate these players pass rush abilities in the new scheme?
The quality of his replacements is irrelevant. If someone took his job then he'd be quality depth or a 3rd down specialist. But this year he stood to make $4 Million. By cutting him, he counts for $4.5 million. We ate a penalty to make him go away.
As a business owner I would be thinking I saved $4 million on garbage.
The Bills were ******ed for giving this guy the kind of money they did in the first place. The sooner we get him off the cap the better. Not that it matters too much though since we never spend to the cap but that's another topic altogether. They should've cut him sooner so his entire cap hit went to this season. I mean we're only sitting there with 18 million dollars we're not going to use.
Did you know that there are currently at least 36 players in the NFL with the last name Brown? That's more than 1 per team. I foresee a bad day for guys named Brown on the horizon.
At least 42 guys named Smith...hopefully there is a bad day for a guy that goes by the first name Brad pretty soon. That'll be a good day for me.
Forget about keeping up with the Jones'...there are only 30 of them.

We could be starting five Williams this year. Five.
I'm disappointed that Anderson didn't work out, but I'm glad the Bills let him go and didn't feel the need to keep him because he was a high priced FA. I wasn't excited about the talk of keeping Anderson as a "situational pass rusher."

I've always felt that the best situational pass rusher is a blitzing cornerback or safety.
Anderson was a roll of the dice that didn't pan out as well as expected, but I credit the Bills for trying. Happens to most clubs time to time, IMO.

I agree. The comments in this thread are odd. Signing Anderson didn't put us against the cap and prevent us from signing anyone else. And he was coming off a very solid, double digit sack year. Sure, he hadn't shown a ton of consistency previously, but Ralph spent some cash on the gamble that he might. And you guys have a
problem with that? You'd rather that Ralph just sat on the cash?
Wake up, brush your teeth, and get ready for a day of hating the Dolphins. Or the Pats? How to choose?
