    Andrew Luck

So you saw him for the second time, what do you think?

He didn't look too special last season when he played you, didn't look bad yesterday.

    Re: Andrew Luck

What Indy asked of him last year was insane. He met every challenge.
I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?"
"Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet.
You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times."
    It was all
true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach.
He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can
mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

Most pass yards by a rookie ever, 40 attempts per game, 23TD's to 18 INT's...... They put the offense on his back as a rookie. That's just sick.

    Re: Andrew Luck

I am starting Luck against Oakland. For some reason, this one dude pissed me off in the live draft, so I drafted every QB I could. I have Rodgers, Manuel, RGII, Kaepernick and Dalton as well as Luck. 6 QBs. Makes my odds of picking the right QB very low. I'm thinking Lucky. Oakland should suck.

If we would have drafted him it might have wound up being the luck of the Irish instead.

LOL. How many bench spots are on the team? Do you have anything left for the rest of the team? Rodgers, RG3 and Kapernick were probably all drafted within the top 6 rounds at the latest and then Luck in the middle rounds and Dalton/Manuel in the 10th+ rounds.. I'd keep a couple and trade with somebody hurting for a QB.

I don't think he drafted Kelly but he did draft Reich and Kerry Collins to name a few more.

I told ya Indy would win! Good game! I actually thought Denver might pull it out at the end, no lead is really secure with Manning.

No he didn't , so you are correct. Kelly was drafted by Terry Bledsoe who then hired Polian as personel director after the draft. I believe the reason that Polian was named GM a year or two later was Bledsoe fell ill.

HaHaha. There is a reason for that!!!! I did enjoy the game though, it was the first time the refs didn't allow blatant holding to protect Manning. He is undoubtedly very sore today.
