Re: Bills early round possibilities watch

Now that it looks like Kiko may move outside and Schwartz may want to bolster the run defense, ILB has become a bigger need. I've been looking at some of the ILB prospects.

One guy I like more and more when I watch him is Christian Jones. He's a very good athlete. He makes plays all over the field and lot's of fast tackles. He has no fear in blowing up into a hole either. He played more on the outside at Florida State and he's 6' 4" 234 so his height may make him better suited on the outside. But his tenacity and ability to close fast and make sure tackles makes him attractive as an ILB. He also can use his athleticism to rush the passer and proved that over and over at Fla St.

CBS Sports has him as a 3rd rounder. If the Bills think he can play MLB this is a guy we should think about.

As I've said, I'm souring on Mosley due to being late to the ball to much, washed out of too many plays, and just not making enough plays in general.

I really like Max Bullough and will add more thoughts on him later.

Moncrief with a 4.40 flat 40 time? Nasty

39.5" vertical and 132 inch broad jump.

6' 2", 221 nasty ball skills and fights for the ball. He's basically an ultra athletic possession receiver...

Several guys will go higher but after Sammy Watkins, this is the guy I want the most at WR. I'd love to land him in round 2.

    NFL.com's write up:

    "BOTTOM LINE

Big, physically gifted “X” receiver with deep speed, “above-the-rim” potential and playmaking ability. Has a ceiling as a No. 1 or No. 2 in a vertical passing offense, and his best football is in front him. Likely to elevate his stock at the combine and in workouts."

Mike Evans says he's heard he may be a top 10 pick.

How many QBs will go before Buffalo picks? 2 or 3? Manziel, Bortles, and Bridgewater?

I hate to prognosticate on QB's anymore after my supreme failure at predicting who goes when last year.

If I had to guess I'd go with Bortles and Bridgewater before Buff. I think Manziel has enough question marks to slide down. And then, like many drafts, the teams in the mid-late 1 don't need QB's. So who knows.

Nice. Makes Hardy's 6'6" 217lb combine numbers for leaping ability pale... Hardy at 4 inches taller had a combine broad leap of 125 and a vertical of only 31.5

I haven't watched the QB situation that closely. I don't honestly know.

I'd love for Watkins to drop into our laps so if the Browns or anyone else wants to draft Manziel and that let's him fall to us great.

Kouandjio not participating at his pro-day by his own choice.

    His stock is dropping fast.

That said, I watched him a lot and he can play. Someone might get a steal if his stock keeps dropping.
