All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

Not to mention he's a UFA in a couple months who will be looking for a big pay day.
His $6.75 salary is going to be closer to $8m..
St Louis is 31-8-5 why in the world would they trade for a 33 year old goalie?
St Louis is #1 in the NHL in Goal-Diff with a plus 62..And 3rd in the NHL in goals against with 99..
because a team trying to win a stanley cup upgrades its weakest point. lots of teams acquire expensive, older, aging players with expiring contracts all the time. its called "a rental player"
sometimes, teams give up lots to acquire a rental player.
See I think this is people jumping on what others have suggested. St.Louis is 3rd in Goals allowed. Only 1 more than Boston and 4 more than the Kings who are considered one of the best defensive teams in the league. I mean anything is possible but I don't know they take Miller without you taking a goalie in return. They are up against the cap so would you be willing to take 6.75 million in salary back? Don't think you would.
of course i expect buffalo to take a goalie back. theyd have to.

All things point to st louis looking to upgrade the goal tending you say?
As productive as Halak and Elliott have been this season, they can’t make the intrigue go away. No matter how well Elliott plays it’s virtually inconceivable they can anoint him their No. 1 because Halak’s postseason pedigree makes him the presumptive postseason starter. Yet Halak has been pulled against San Jose, Chicago and Anaheim since November 29, though one wonders how a lingering illness contributed to an .885 December save percentage. Fan fixation on Buffalo Sabres goalie and 2010 Olympic hero Ryan Miller remains strong. Miller might well be moved at the trade deadline but it’s difficult to envision a scenario where the Blues, snug against the salary cap, could move enough money to offset Miller’s addition. The Blues likewise appear unlikely to surrender the bounty of young players and draft picks demanded by the rebuilding Sabres.

not setting the world on fire, but his numbers are better then last year in terms of PPG. hes already surpassed last years goal total (18 this year, 17 last year) in 12 less games with 3 less points overall.
