All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
Agreed but our current lack of scoring may set NHL lows, which show a definitive area of need. We really suck, I mean hard to watch suck.
not arguing with you there. overall, im leaning towards reinhart. a skilled, scoring center who excels in his own zone? thats a beautiful piece to have.
Zad had 2 assists last night.. Zad has 7 points in his last 3 games..
Yesterday on WGR Paul Hamilton had a couple of observatons
"I am fairly certain the Sabres hit on Ristolainen and Zadorov" " I cant completely give up yet on Grigorenko because he is only 19"
" After the 2012 1st round draft was completed I had several scouts and hockey people tell me not to be at all surprised when Girgensons turns out be a better NHL player than Grigorenko"

the thing about grigo is, yes, hes only 19. he may put it together and take some time to develop. some players do that.
im just bringing him up to compare for times sake. but vinny prospal spent 5 years in the minors before becoming a very productive player. grigo will be on rochester next year. i have hope he will be fine.
There seems to be a implication in this article that Tim Murray isn't blown away by any of the young goalies in the Sabres system.. Id draft Thatcher Demko with the Sabres 1st pick in the 2nd round in a heartbeat but bridging the gap between Miller and Demko with Enroth or Hackett is a dicey prospect
Last night during an intermission at the Rochester Americans and Texas Stars AHL tilt in Rochester, Buffalo Sabres general manager Tim Murray gave a lengthy interview to WGR 550 discussing a wide range of topics...

ive been hoping to draft a goalie high for a while. ullmark, IMO, has the highest ceiling after hackett (who i think is NHL starter material if he works on his mental game) down the road.
