Sam is going to be just fine. I'm extremely happy with the way he is playing. I was more impressed and surprised by Pysyk's 2G 1A game. They scored on 3 of 4 PP's. Perhaps Toronto was experimenting with their PK, but that's still impressive.

Rinkey dink NHL on full display. Any other league would have full replays from multiple angles of every highlight especially when one of the future stars is in his first game. All we have is a frickin' gif.

I disagree that the preseason in most leagues would have the full deal like the regular season.

As rookies go through the league a couple of times, the book comes out on the player and the game supposedly gets tougher on them.

Eichel just played Tampa for the fourth time, and all he was was the best player on the ice. Very impressive for the kid.

Team USA was trying to get an exemption so that Eichel can play with the senior mens team at the world cup as opposed to the under 23 team.

So these players aren't Sabres prospects but this thread is probably the best way to point this out... Michael Dal Colle the 5th overall pick by the Isles in 2014 just got cut by Team Canada for the upcoming junior tournament.. Not only is he not in the NHL he hasn tbeen productive in his 4th year of junior some Isles fans are calling him a bust already

Jakob Chychrun who is projected to be the 2nd overall pick next year a defensemen was cut by Team Canada.. Would have liked to have seen him play I don't think he is at Aaron Ekblads level although he is close.. The Sabres are close enough to the bottom discussing and watching any of the projected top 5 picks in next years draft at the upcoming world juniors is relevant I guess
