All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
So these players aren't Sabres prospects but this thread is probably the best way to point this out... Michael Dal Colle the 5th overall pick by the Isles in 2014 just got cut by Team Canada for the upcoming junior tournament.. Not only is he not in the NHL he hasn tbeen productive in his 4th year of junior some Isles fans are calling him a bust already
Jakob Chychrun who is projected to be the 2nd overall pick next year a defensemen was cut by Team Canada.. Would have liked to have seen him play I don't think he is at Aaron Ekblads level although he is close.. The Sabres are close enough to the bottom discussing and watching any of the projected top 5 picks in next years draft at the upcoming world juniors is relevant I guess
Chychrun... drool. And Sean day has slid into the second by alot of people's accounts. I'd take him in a heartbeat

Sean Day hasn't lived up to the hype that surrounded him when he was 14/15 years old... At that age he was considered a slam dunk No,1 pick in his draft year

I understand that, but I'd still tame him. Especially in the second round.
Estephan has 52 points in 42 games. He had 51 all of last year. Some people thought he could be a steal of the draft. Good news for him to produce at a better clip then last year.
Kris Baker said on WGR the other day he thinks Fasching is the Sabres No.1 prospect and that he could play with Eichel someday.... Also suggested Brendan Guhle could be a Top 4 defensemen someday...
Watching go blue and compher scored a great goal. He's been everywhere. I'm sad he had to be moved. He was a nice depth prospect that I think could be a middle 6 forward.
