i always put peca a tier below rod the bod. and while peca could hit hard, i always thought he was more stay at home, more positional, where as girgs will work along the boards more (but my memory of peca has faded. maybe he was harder along the boards then i recall)

Girgs just has a complete game. He can work the boards, the dirty areas, can handle the puck, skate, shoot, pass. I'm really enjoying watching him. He's becoming a force out there that teams will begin to gameplay for.

i need to watch him in the defensive zone more.

i completely agree that was his best game. he looked downright dominant at times. he could of have 2 or more goals. fingers crossed he shows this game more often.

coly hrap did u see matty ellis pick that puck out of the air, cradle it like its a lacrosse stick, and fling it into the top freakin corner?!? he couldnt do that if he tried a thousand times in practice but it looked fn ass cool right there
