    Re: weather talk

We are having good weather. We have been cooler than north and south of us. Cant wait to get home.
A very disturbing trend in Canada now is that Justin Trudeau's behavior and lies have become 'acceptable' . . . more disturbing yet is his cabinet of brain-dead penguins have accepted his criminal behavior and have surrounded and support him. Those same brain-dead penguins have a lesser grasp of 'ethics' than their leader . . . . this country is in deep poo.

    Not. Good.
We lost it too for about 3 hours last night. We heard the boom and assumed it was a transformer.

But the strange thing was, our neighbors on both sides had power. Only us and 2 people on the street behind us lost power.

It turned out to be a limb on a power line. They had 4 trucks here at 11:00 pm, but one guy just cut it with an extendo-pole, with another guy holding a flashlight.

Not a good night to lose power. The heat index yesterday peaked at 115 and stayed over 100 in the evening.

Another broiling day today but we'll get rain tomorrow night.

30c. But they say feels like 40c. 104f But it is not humid outside. Hot but you can breath. But the motel room has AC and pints in the fridge and a CFL double header on tv. Life is good.

They found snow in the UP today.

It's a plow mound that was covered by sawdust. They believe the sawdust protected the mound, and it stayed.

Incredible, especially given the recent heat

In the old days they cut ice out of rivers or lakes and put it in a building and covered with sawdust. Works well.

Lightning detected at 85 degrees north. That's almost the north pole. Very cool

Were getting a large storm as we speak. Lots of rain, wind, and lightning. Just under a severe storm. Still a dandy

Severe storms rolled through this evening. Tornado sirens and warnings posted. Some major damage to a neighborhood JUST north of downtown (belknap lookout)

Tornados also hit other areas around GR. They hit hours ago and were still getting lightning

I see that complex on a daily basis. It's really weird when you can pinpoint something like that. One minute its there, the next its not
