What sucks is we can't get to meet Canada in the finals for the gold! If they both win their first game, they will meet in the semi-finals.

Being here in Denver have become quite the Avs fan. (It helps that they're winning, going from last place last year to a fairly good team, headed for the playoffs this year. Say what you want, but Patrick Roy knows his hockey).

And I'm a bit shocked Varlamov gave up three goals! In two periods no less!

Bobrovsky sure looked good in the third! I imagine Varlamov only got the start to give Bobrovsky a rest.

**** about time doughty comes through. This Latvian goalie Gudlevskis has been incredible he was taken in the 4th round by the Lightning in 2013. And I noticed the USA is up 5-2 over the Czechs
